We had an amazing time with Dave. He was fun, efficient, and we had a great time. It would’ve been cool if he explained a little more details about what he was doing when putting out the lines, baiting, etc. but it was super early in the morning, and we weren’t quite awake yet, so it’s okay! Truly passionate people are few and far between.  To say that Dave is passionate about fishing is an understatement.  It was absolutely mesmerizing to watch him in action.  My son and I had such a great time fishing with Dave this summer.  It was an action packed trip with an impressive success rate.  Our arms were exhausted reeling in all those fish. After my last Whitehall charter captain left the area 3 years ago, I had the itch to try it again after researching (Facebook stalking).  I decided to give Dave a try.  His prices make his charter a feasible option for those that have done it before and want to get out again.  He puts you on the fish and is driven by success.  He isn't afraid to change his approach halfway thru the trip.   We ended up with our 2 man limit before our time limit.    We could have ended sooner as we had around 20 nibbles. Dave's Fishing Charter is hands down the best Salmon charter I have experienced based on the 7 others I have been on in recent years. He does a great job putting you on the fish early and staying with them to maximize your catch! He is friendly, very knowledgeable, and actively works the fish by changing lures, monitoring depths, water temps, and changes things up as needed. He is honest about the fishing conditions and how the catch has been. Easily accommodated our group of 4 even though booking said 3 people. I definitely recommend booking with him and we are already looking at booking with him next year.
